So I own all of the volumes of His favorite. Its amazing, it's funny, with just a hint of BL that caters to my yaoi loving need. With this being the 10th volume I was super excited to see were their relationship was going and was even wondering if they would get more lovey dovey. But..um...That didn't happen.To be honest I loved the book, it was still funny and I loved Sato teasing Yoshida. But I was honestly expecting a bit more. I wanted to see their relationship develop more romantically but overall it felt like they were just 2 dude's who said they were going out together and were just kinda touchey feely with one another. If you don't count hand kisses you could count the amount of times they smooched in the book with one hand.Volume 10 is still a good book to have in your collection and its a lot thicker than the other volumes I have from this series. If your looking for a VERY VERY STRICTLY shounen ai book of 2 dudes who don't mind sharing kisses and their daily lives at school then this book was meant for you. If your looking for something other than that...maybe look elsewhere it won't be hard to find something.Still would definetly recommend and so happy to add to my collection 💗
This volume was refreshing. Finally, we're getting decent character development that doesn't go at a snail's pace. While there's still plenty of humor and fluff, it was a nice change of pace to get a good chunk of insight to the boys' feelings. They're becoming more honest with each other.
This book has 2 of my favorite episodes in it. The marathon race and Sato getting a fever are two of the best stories in the whole series, in my opinion. The humor in these stories is as fantastic as always. Unfortunately, this one also contains the banana peel/amnesia episode, which is just terrible. I think it's the worst of the whole series, so I dinged this book a star because of it.There's also a story about not-green-tea madeleines which falls between the two, but isn't bad as a story by itself.
Another great continuation as always. Volume 10 was particularly fun because of how Sato is slowly changing his behavior at school now that everyone knows his secret! Lots of openly sadistic scenes in this volume for plenty of fun. Can't wait for more!
Volume 10 of this bl manga is very funny and it reveals a lot about Sato 's past also his relationship with his mean family members who don't understand about his relationship with yoshida
I've been following this manga for a while. It is such a quirky and fun read. The characters are what really make this special with such off-the-wall unique personalities.
I love Vol 10 because Sato gets the tables turned on him a couple of times. We also see Sato blush and smile. What I like best is now that Yoshida & Sato's relationship is in the open, Sato doesn't care who knows about it. Torachin and Yamanaka make a very brief cameo.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I got the first book in this series but I really loved both the story and the art once I got into it. I liked the characters, even the ones with the rather iffy personalities. No cute uke here just a rather goofy looking guy surprised by the love of his rather sadistic seme. The story is moving a bit slowly but I like the way the characters are developing.
