I squeal at every picture and once took an entire vacation based around getting to meet one in person. So, if you're a sloth fiend like me, this book does not disappoint at all. It is full of adorable photos of sloths to squeal over and also has a lot of fun information about sloths. I was really impressed at the level of information the author gives, including stories about the sloths in the photos. This book has a permanent place on my coffee table and always gets attention whenever people come over.

I expected this photobook to be a thin paper back with only pictures of sloths- I was wrong; its a lush, thick book fullof stories and beutiful images of sloths and love. I also thought that I had seen all the photos of sloths worth seeing- I was wrong about that, too; there are so many stunning and unique pictures of sloths and they are more adorable than anything!

OMG If I didn't already love sloths I would after getting this book. Photos are wonderful and I really enjoyed learned more about Sam and the sloths she loves. I also got to meet her on our recent trip to Costa Rica and she's great in person too.A must for the sloth and/or animal-lover in your life!

It is a given that, if you are already find sloths sweet, this book will only strengthen that love with its enduring pictures and colorful anecdotes about the yawning creatures.Narrating details about their life's, care and relationship with each other, it gives you a bright insight beyond the dried, clinical descriptions that litter the majority of documentaries with fact on their sleeping habits and.... mostly nothing else.There is a fascinating creature beyond its accurately-descriptive name, and it could be argued that the book could even change skeptical's about its drowsy but, ultimately sweet appearance.

I got this for my husband, who is a big fan of sloths, and he loved it. The book is surprisingly substantial (about 120 pages) and contains many beautiful and adorable pictures of sloths, along with interesting facts and stories. Highly recommend.

I was just returning to the US from a Costa Rica vacation and was browsing the shops in the airport when I spotted Slothlove. I love sloths, in fact the number one thing on my Costa Rica wish list was to see a live sloth. So when I saw the book, I just had to have it. I loved it! The pictures are so dang cute, it just makes your heart swell. Anytime I'm having a bad day, I just have to pick up Slothlove and thumb through it. The day is instantly brighter.

Love this book and the beautiful story that comes along with it. What a pleasant surprise! I absolutely adore sloths. I can truly see how they could help heal a broken heart. Miller is Distinguished Professor and Chair of Criminal Justice and Criminology at East Tennessee State University (ETSU). I was really hopeful that this book would go into more detail rather than just explanations of terms and practices. I was looking for something that would explain in detail how to use social media as a tool for investigations...but it did not. It just talked about how people are using it, defined terms and talked about the future. Useful for my needs. It also had poor formatting. It looked like it was originally made for PDF/electronic use and then haphazardly put into print format.It's a good guide for people that know NOTHING about social media and that want to learn how social media is being used to investigate, but not so much as a how-to guide on going about the actual investigations.

Excellent resource. Very eye opening information. Well written and easy to read. Highly recommended for anyone interested in criminal investigations.

The book is appropriate for a weekend short course CJ refresher. The reference list is good, but without digital links available, they are less than useful.

The material is focused on law aspect... I was looking more on the investigative collection and methods...

it was a good book, but I was expecting more. It have a los of refferences about some cases were social media was crucial.

This book packs a great deal of info into 100 pages of text. Found it to be an easy and quick read. Lots of good case law and investigative methods. It's a great resource for law enforcement tasked with such investigations.

The old and the new Aidan and Margaret both charm and anger the other. Margaret fears Aidan will never forgive her for leaving and she just might be right. Aidan sees the old Margaret behind the hard mask she’s built, but there’s something that holds her back. Their anger and attraction sparks a fire that’s bound to consume them.When the enemy catches up to them secrets, love and fear may be the end to any possible future.I did not like this book as much as I liked the first book of the series. It just moved a bit to slow for me.

Many of us have a person who is the "one." Most of those relationships have been tainted by meddling family or friends. Aidan and Margaret were fortunate to find each other early in life; however, their joy was short-lived. We find them 8 years later in this novel. The ghost of the past linger near and they will not let them be at peace.The flashes of memory portions are great because you understand why they are doing the things they are doing. The hurt feelings and the assumptions can not smother the flames of attraction between them. There is enough of an antagonist with the Earl of Norwich and the impending war to add some urgency to the story.You do catch up with Reade and Elizabeth, which I love. I always want to know more about the characters in a previous novel. Aidan and Margaret deal with some real issues. This story is a great romance and it has enough realism to be relatable. If you like those types of stories I think you'll like this one.

Oh man, talk about hard hitting. This is one exciting, action packed, fast paced, pulse racing, heart pounding, page turning delight that captivates from start to finish. All the twists and turns, ups and downs, ins and outs, along with a few unexpected circumstances make for one incredible adventure. The pressure is on, the tension high, the danger and suspense builds throughout as the tale unfolds. One thrilling storyline with an incredible plot really pulls this bad boy together flawlessly. The characters and scenes are written with such realism it brings this bad boy roaring to life brilliantly. Remarkable job Mia, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.I received a review copy of this story.

I really enjoyed this book. Aiden is a very noble character with such caring traits. Margaret is his childhood sweetheart who leaves Scotland to go to England to live with her father. When he dies, she is left in a bad situation that only Aiden can help. He rescues her from England and returns to Scotland while being followed by an English suitor. Aiden and Margaret are again pulled into their former feelings but will not admit to each other. Frustrations are followed with lots of twists and turns. The ending is a satisfying happily ever after. I would recommend this book and Anne Morrison. I am looking forward to reading more of her books.

She secretly send a message to Aidan (Laird MacTaggar) asking for his help.After warding off another one of Harry's unwanted advances, Meggie runs and finds solice in the family chapel, unbeknownst, Aidan is hiding there.After short reunion, Meggie asks if Aidan will take her home to see her mom.He finally agrees to help her take her back to Scotland.They both have unresolved feelings for each other, which makes this trip home very emotional.

2nd in a series,The Highlander's Lost Bride was well written. I liked the 1st book just a bit !it's than this one. Aiden and Margaret dwelt with parent's expectations who thought they knew better than the it children. You meet characters from the first story and follow some of the politics for that era. War is a constant, passion handled just like it can be handled now days. Believable and real are Ann Morrison's characters. I look forward to other stories by her. This is a honest review from receiving the story from the author.

Anne Morrison does not disappoint her readers. If you enjoy Scottish Highland romance, you will enjoy “The Highlander’s Lost Bride”. Anne’s style of writing holds your interest from the first page of her books. Aiden the Laird of his clan is sent a cryptic message from the love of his youth whom he never forgot. He goes alone to the dangers of England to see Margaret and find out what troubles she is in. This book is about a second chance at your first love and all that is involved to get there. I can’t wait for Anne’s third book in this series!
