Programming has become a thorn in me since the time I tried to do it. But when I have read this book, I have gain knowledge of the easy ways of programming. This book has introduced HTML, CSS and Javascript for me to improve and become a great web developer. With this book, I've learned the basics of these languages that this book has introduced me. This is really helpful for me in becoming founded of these languages and grow in the knowledge of the use of them.
Programming is never been easy but is full of exciting things that you can create. This is one of the best programming book I have in my Kindle. Specific and easy to understand. I am eager to share this to my brother who loves programming too. These are basic guide but as they say we all started from the beginning (basic). Each chapter is very well explained. Kudos to the author!
I purchased this book with some knowledge of the three languages that it covers and to its credit it does claim to be a basic guide. This book provides very little technical information, such as tags or variable definitions, which are required to make a decent starting webpage.It does go over some basic principles rather well and is decent for beginner theory but if you have any knowledge of web design this book will not benefit you.
Meh. Written in note style and didn't really have any real information, could not find comments about it so bought it cold. It went to the Charity pile after I was done.
This book should not be allowed to be sold. it'll give you a quick run down on programming and its not terrible at it. but its many mistakes which include, numerous programming mistakes(which a newbie wouldn't recognize), many grammer mistakes, missing content, and bad writing, are unforgivable. this book is made and produced by amazon. there are much better books out there, or you can just go to lynda.com and really learn programming quickly and easily.
Chapter 3 under attributes the first sentence ends incorrectly:AttributesIn the previous chapter, we took some time to talk about simple tags, but there are also some tags that work with attributes to the.I looked for a way to contact the author but couldn't find one.
This book has very short chapters on HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The information is so basic, it is almost useless. In the Javascript chapter, he gives the syntax for If and For statements, but does not even give an example of them, or how you might want to use them. You can find much better tutorials online for free.
